Ok, Ok, I know that this isn't supposed to be a political blog, but this made me so mad. Joe Biden when asked how to respond to people who ask why should they pay more in taxes... Said “it's time to be patriotic." Biden thinks that those who make more and don't want to pay a higher percentage of taxes are un-patriotic?!
This bothers me. It wouldn't affect me directly because I don't make more than the $250k, but my employers do. They have already been cutting back on our benefits because of the economy, what do you think they're going to do when their taxes go up too. The money has to come from somewhere and trust me before they ever take a big hit they are going to cut back in any way possible. Four of our locations already cut all of their assistant managers.
This is why this communist/socialist mentality does not work. The rich stay rich and the poor/middle class suffers.
